The Amazing Spiderman Review

The laziness of my image selection knows no bounds or shame.

So……The Amazing Spiderman is indeed amazing, whether you think that’s a good amazing or a bad amazing.

E3 2012 Highlights

I hope my body can take it.

E3 2012 has been the year where everyone saves their big guns for next time. Little to nothing was surprising or mind-blowing. But there was genuine and honest effort, even if it was only a little. And I’m here to discuss the big 3 companies, and the games that stood out. Let’s jump right into it.

Vlog - The Avengers

This video footage was recorded May 6, 2012. However, I got sick literally an hour after taping this, had finals, family in town, and my hard drive on my computer replaced so it took me FOREVER to actually post this. By now everyone's already done their Avengers videos and gotten it out of their system. *sigh* Timeliness is important...

Resident Evil 4 Review (GCN)

Resident Evil 4 Review
By Bargain Brogan

When people frequently cite something as a positive example, pay attention. You will either discover something fantastic or that someone has an unwarranted obsession. The latter becomes less likely as a more diverse list of people recommend it. Blah blah blah, writer’s block, lazy transition, Resident Evil 4. I went original and picked up the Gamecube version, by the way.

Player’s Purchase Patience: Avoiding Release Dates (featuring Mass Effect 3)

Player’s Purchase Patience: Avoiding Release Dates

Player’s Purchase Patience: Avoiding Release Dates

Mass Effect 3 hit the shelves last week. Even though I’ve only played the first two, I do consider them to be among my absolute favorite games in this generation, right below the Elder Scrolls series and the original Bioshock. But I honestly do not care whatsoever for Mass Effect 3’s release. I didn’t care about Mass Effect 2’s release either and coincidentally never got around to buying the game until it was 20 bucks, which happened a lot faster than I thought it would. And you know what? The game was amazing. I still don’t regret waiting a long time to buy it.

Preemptive Strike - Street Fighter X Tekken and Soul Calibur V

Welcome to Preemptive Strike, where I hurt a game before it hurts me. Basically a carefully constructed analysis of certain aspects of a game I have not actually played. (Really? That's my catchphrase for this segment?)

Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Review

I’ll just come out and say it: I hesitantly, reluctantly claim that Skyward Sword is the best Legend of Zelda game ever. I understand that’s a bold claim, but I’m more than willing to back it up. This is a really damn good and creative game, but no game is perfect and let the record show that Skyward Sword most certainly is not.

Six-Gen Sonic Ep1 Pt1 - prototype (video) (WIP)

WORK IN PROGRESS.

Segment 1 of Part 1 of a review on Sonic Adventure DX, the first episode in a four-episode series on Sonic the Hedgehog's transition into 3D. Yes, it's complicated.

Haven't had the time lately to complete it, and my video editing software has crashed on me and I'm having trouble getting it back up. But I want to get what I got so far out there. Some spots are marked with "Live", which is a mark I use for editing in future scenes. Also, the intro's music sound is louder than the audio, which I can't fix yet.

Will be deleted when final result complete.
